Fox Run Regional Park, only two miles east of Jackson Creek, offers
picnic pavilions, ball fields and a complete trail system. Just west of
Jackson Creek is the Sante Fe Trail, ideal for hiking, biking and
horseback riding with easy access to Palmer Lake, the Air Force Academy
and Colorado Springs.
There's Woodmoor Pines Golf and Country Club, featuring tennis courts, a
swimming pool, and an 18-hole golf course. Golf enthusiasts will enjoy
the nearby championship public courses at Gleneagle, King's Deer and
Pine Creek. Membership at the Gleneagle club includes tennis, swimming
and social activities.
Known around the world as the home of the United States Air Force
Academy and the United States Olympic Training Complex, the Pikes Peak
Region is also home to many natural wonders, museums, galleries,
theaters and sports facilities.
