At Jackson Creek, residents are surrounded by a rich and natural beauty that most people only dream about.

Visitors to the nearby Black Forest area are delighted by the thick forest of Ponderosa pines in which Abert or “tassel-eared” squirrels, herds of elk, porcupines, and red crossbills thrive. Red foxes, mule deer, and mountain chickadees are commonly seen here.

Bird watchers will marvel at the frequent site of the Red-Tail Hawk, Stellar’s Jay, and even the occasional wild turkey!
